Top Ten Pairings Meme

So, my lovely friend did this and because I’m silly and love couples as much (if not much more) than she does, I decided to do it. I’ll probably put it in scraps later.

1) Wally/Artemis (Young Justice)—I think this goes without saying, but I ADORE these two together. I didn’t really catch on to them at first, but after watching “Bereft” I was completely hooked. Something about their clashing personalities really makes me love them and their bantering like an old married couple.

2) Bruce/Selina (Batman)—I love it when Selina is portrayed as someone who is more than just a sexy woman swinging from rooftops and wearing a skin-tight outfit. When she and Bruce are written well, their chemistry is quite wonderful.

3) Roland/Susan (The Dark Tower)—My dad got me into these books, and after reading “Wizard and Glass” I completely fell in love with this very canon but very awesome couple. Their romance was written so beautifully that I had to reread the chapters--where they were specifically together --over and over again.

4) Roy/Jade (Young Justice/DC Comics)—I love the idea of someone as stick-to-the-mission as Roy falling for a criminal assassin like Jade. It’s somewhat crack (even though it’s canon) but I love the places you can take them.

5) Severus/Lily (Harry Potter)—It totally surprised me in the book, and I LOVE being surprised by a couple. So, naturally, these two became a favorite.

6) Gar/Rachel (Teen Titans)—They remind me of Wally and Artemis because of their contrasting personalities. But I like how they both have a bit of a dark side, while the rest of them just desperately desires to be good. Gar’s a little better at showing that, but hey.

7) Sawyer/Juliet (Lost)—Back when this show was around, this couple quickly overtook Kate/Sawyer as my favorite. It was just so obvious how much James cared about her. And, yes, I cried when she died. Because I’m a ball of emotions who gets really attached to characters she loves.

8) Damian/Stephanie (Batman)—It’s utter crack and I adore it. Read this fic if you want to fall completely head over heels in love with them like I did: [link]

9) Phillip/Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)—It’s Disney. It’s classic. Therefore, I ship.

10) Conner/Megan (Young Justice)—I love YJ’s canon, and even if they’re taking it a bit fast with Kon and Megs, I still think they work perfectly together. There’s that innocence and longing to be accepted in both of them that makes them excellent as a couple.
